Made to Match kicked off with an entertaining but informative TV campaign starring popular chef Al Brown. The affable culinary creator delivers intriguing insights on the virtues of beer matched with food and also takes time to debunk a few myths along the way.
It offered a fast and fun way for people to find recipes that match their favourite beer – or vice versa. The site is also doubles as a kind of beer encyclopaedia.
Essentially it’s a piece of advertising, so the site’s visual impact really needed to snap customers to attention, then keep them there. That’s why presenting the recipe and drink information clearly and simply was also a central part of the design.
